Dear Student,

You have started this application because you wish to pursue a Higher Education path in the United States. Our role at Go Campus is to guide you in your choices and help you obtain a Go Campus scholarship.

This application will allow us to get to know you better, to decide whether or not you can participate in the programme, and to bring together all the necessary documents to apply for university studies in the USA.

The online application is composed of four elements :

  • Payment of programme registration fees at 270 EUR (Step 1)
  • Application Form to complete online (Step 2)
  • Contract to sign (Step 3)
  • Several documents to prepare and upload to your dedicated account (Step 4)

Registration Fees to be paid by bank transfer

The Registration Fees are made up of membership fees at 10 EUR, and application fees at 260 EUR. By paying these fees, you reserve your place on the programme and officially start the registration process.

To do this, you must :

  • Make a bank transfer of 270 EUR to our bank account : IBAN = FR7610096185710003759660234
  • Please note your first name and surname on the transfer.

Go Campus database

  • Connect to the Go Campus Database
  • Click on “Students Login
  • For the “Username”, note your surname in uppercase followed by your first name lowercase with no space. For example, SMITHjohn
  • For the “Password”, you will use your date of birth in the format (DDMMYY) unless you were born between the 1st and the 9th of the month, then it will be in the format (DMMYY) without the first 0. For example, for someone born 13th March 2005, the password will be 130305, but for someone born 2nd October 2007, the password will be 21007.
  • Then click “Submit
  • Click on “Profile/Application”
  • Fill out each section in English, without any accents or special characters, and use the date format of MMDDYY
  • You must complete the following sections : “About Me”, “Contact Info”, “Education”, “Future Plans” and “Program” (to make the pre-choice easier for you, please consult the following lists depending on the programme you are looking for : University list BA / University list MBA )

Contract to sign

You should have received an email called “Go Campus/ Your Application”

Go back to this email and click on the yellow button that says “Evaluate these documents”. This document must be read and signed online via DocuSign.

If, when you sign up to the programme, you are a minor, then one of your parents or legal guardians must also sign the contract.

Please note that we cannot start working on your application until steps 1 to 3 are completed.

Documents to prepare and to upload to the database

  • Connect to the Go Campus Database using the codes from Step 2
  • Click on “Files and Documents”
  • Prepare and upload the following documents :
Resume
  • Your CV should not be longer than one page
  • You should note your contact details, any professional experiences you may have had (internships, volunteering etc can also be included), your academics etc.
  • You should note things from order of most recent to least recent
  • Do not forget to add the international dialling code for your phone number
  • Note any languages other than English that you may speak
Personal Essay
  • The Personal Essay must be two pages long
  • Mention your current activity (work, studies etc.), what you have studied or are studying, and what you wish to study in the USA
  • If you have worked, done any volunteering or done an internship, you should also mention this
  • Mention your hobbies (briefly)
  • Talk about what you think you can bring to the university
  • Explain why you want to study in the USA

What not to say or do

  • You shouldn’t specify the name of any schools as this letter is sent to all schools
  • You should not mention you wish to only stay for one year
  • Do not copy a template found online as this would be considered plagiarism
Passport Copy
  • Your passport should be valid up to 6 months from the end of your first year on the programme
  • If you are currently renewing your passport, you must let us know
  • If you hold more than one passport, you can choose which passport to travel with but inform us from the start
  • You can send us this document later if you don’t currently have it
  • Important to note : if you are American or hold dual American citizenship, we cannot accept you on this programme
Letter of Recommendation #1 #2
  • Download two copies of this letter
  • Have two people sign and stamp these letters for you. This could be by a teacher, an employer, a coach etc.
  • The letters must be legible. If not, or if they miss a signature or a stamp, they will need to be rewritten.
  • We require a minimum of two letters, but you can send us more
  • Like with the passport, you can send these letters at a later date if you don’t receive them straight away
High School Transcripts (Native Language)
  • Upload all your Secondary/High School transcripts or equivalent from 10th to 12th Grade (year 11 to A2 level)
  • Upload any university transcripts if you have any
  • If you don’t currently have all your transcripts because you are in the final year of school, don’t forget to send us the new transcripts as and when you receive them
  • Universities could request original transcripts. Keep the originals safe and bring them with you when you arrive on campus.
  • Important to know : some schools can request an official translation or evaluation of your transcripts. If this is the case of your chosen school, we will let you know. These evaluations can cost around 250 USD.
  • Scan all the transcripts in one document before uploading to the database
High School Diploma or Letter from Institution
  • Upload a copy of your A’Level result certificates (or equivalent) as well as any other diplomas you may have received (Bachelor Degree, Master’s Degree etc.)
  • Universities could request the original diplomas. Keep the originals safe and bring them with you when you arrive on campus.
TOEFL or IELTS Certificate
  • If you possess a passport from an Anglophone country, you are exempt from passing the English test
  • If you come from another country, the test is only required if you do not want to do ESL classes. Until we receive a copy of your test results, you will be enrolled in the ESL programme.
  • You can send the results of your test at a later date
  • If you prefer to pass the Duolingo test, please reach out to Go Campus first so we can check your chosen school accepts it
Important 

  • A maximum of three documents can be uploaded in each section
  • We only accept documents in PDF (documents in Word, JPEg or PNG formats will not be accepter)

 

Next steps

You have now completed your application ! We may get back to you to request missing documents or modifications to documents you have already submitted if they don’t conform.

We will get in touch with you to plan your interview. The interview will be in video format, and your parents must not be present. It will last roughly 30 minutes.

Depending on your motivation, your aptitudes and your capabilities to adapt to the programme requirement, Go Campus will either validate or refuse your application.

Over the coming months, Go Campus will work on preparing you a list of universities with scholarships. We will also help you with administrative steps (admission documents, insurance questions, visa application etc.) for your application to be accepted by a university in the USA.
