ESL or English as a Second Language is a semester-long programme for students that do not achieve a sufficient score in the English test or choose not to sit an English test. ESL allows us to open the Go Campus programme to all students no matter their English levels.
Students in the ESL programme will study intensive English classes only during that period. There are also some restrictions, such as not being able to play for a school sports team or not being able to work on campus during this programme. Once the programme is complete and the student can provide evidence of the required English test score, they can integrate classes in the area of study of their choice.
Sometimes this programme can last up to one year, depending on the participant’s level of English and progress made in the classes.
