Outside of class, students are encouraged to undergo internships, partake in a semester abroad, aid in undergraduate research or participate in service learning. Extra-curricular activities also hold an important place to enable a good work-fun balance for Illinois College students. Whether you play a sport, participate in one of our music ensembles, act in a theater production, or join one of over 80 student organisations on campus, you have lots of ways to get involved and make life-long friends. Join a group or a cause to develop your leadership skills, gain career-related experience, learn organizational skills, meet other students and get to know faculty members outside of class.
